What is the easiest way to rent one of your storage units?
Our storage units are ready to rent 24/7! Click on your desired location and check the availability. The size dimensions and price are listed, and you click “Rent Now” once determining the unit you need. After that, you will fill out your account information, billing, sign the rental agreement, and pay. You will immediately have access to your unit; you will just need to provide your own lock (Cylinder Lock recommended).
How long can I rent a storage unit?
As long or as short as you like! We offer month-to-month leases with no long-term commitments so your rental process can be as simple as possible.

What size storage units do you have?
Our units vary in size to fit your needs. Select the location tab, click on your desired location, and see the available sizes for that location. Along with the size dimensions, there is a description and picture to help showcase what those sizes accommodate to better help you find what you need.
In terms of height and width, how tall are the storage units? What is the clearance height?
The door clearance of the unit (excluding Boat/RV units) is 9 feet wide and 7 feet tall. The inside of the unit is 8 feet tall and there are multiple dimensions to choose from. The door clearance of the Boat/RV units are 12 feet wide and 12 feet tall with the dimensions of 40 x 12 x 12.
What kind of units do you have? Do you offer climate controlled?
We have several different unit types that we offer…
- Self-Storage: Many different size options to choose from
- Climate Controlled: These units are temperature and humidity controlled and maintain a temperature between 60 and 74 degrees (Carey Location)
- Weather Protected: Indoor units providing protection from extreme heat or cold (Carey Location)
- Boat/RV: Large unit to accommodate large vehicles (Tiffin Location)
What items are NOT allowed to be stored in a storage unit?
- Hazardous Materials

Do I need to schedule an appointment?
No, there is no appointment needed. The easiest way to rent a unit is directly online by selecting the location you need, selecting the unit size you want, and setting up your account that will provide 24/7 access for you to manage on your own. We are also available to assist as you need. Once you complete the setup process, you will receive your unit number and have immediate access to your unit. You will just need to provide your own lock (Cylinder Lock recommended).
How do I manage my online account?
- Make sure all the information you enter is up to date and accurate so you can receive any notifications related to your account.
- Access your account from our Home Page by selecting the Make a Payment/Login button. *Make sure you are using the correct login location of your unit, or it will not allow you to login
- Once you are logged in, you can update your contact information, make a payment, update your payment information, schedule a move out, reset your password, view your account history. You will have the ability to manage, update, and access your account as you need to.
Do I have to sign a rental agreement?
Yes, during the booking process, you will sign a standard rental agreement.
After renting a unit, how soon will I have access?
Immediately! You will have access right away. You just need to provide your own lock. We recommend a Cylinder Lock.
What are reasons someone would need a storage unit?
Many people use storage to free up space in their home or use one for downsizing. Some college students, newlyweds, in-between home buyers use storage as a temporary solution during transitory times. It allows time to determine which pieces of furniture or household items they want to keep or get rid of or will fit and look better in their new apartment or home. Business owners love storage unites to store equipment, merchandise, or vehicles. Companies use self-storage as a cost-effective solution for documents, office furniture, event supplies, etc. without having to expand their office.
Move-Out:
How do I move out of my storage unit? What is the cancellation policy?
You can schedule your move out online and set your date. If your unit is cleaned out as required before the first of the next month, you will not be charged for the next month.
How to Schedule A Move Out:
- Log into your account (make sure you're logging into the right location of your unit)
- Under Current Rentals you will see your unit(s) listed
- Beside Move-Out, Click on "Request"
- Enter the date you want to move out, then click on "Request Move Out"
What happens if I do NOT schedule a Move Out and leave precious belongings behind?
You will not be considered moved out until you schedule your move out and complete the requirements. If you leave items behind and the unit is not swept out, then you will be charged a unit cleaning fee and potentially a refuge disposal fee. We are not a disposal site for your waste!
What are move-out requirements?
- Locks removed
- Completely cleaned out of all items and debris
- Sweep out the unit
- Close the unit door
If I move out early, will I receive a refund?
No, your rental fee is due at the first of each month, if you do not schedule your moveout before then, you will be charged for the entire month. There is no refund or prorated offer. Your move in is the only time we will offer the prorated amount.
Payment:
How do I make a payment?
We recommend setting up your payment as recurring, so it automatically comes out the first of each month and you don’t miss a payment. You can also go online and pay at any time. *There is no need to call us to make a payment, but we are happy to help if you experience any issues.
What if I'm unable to access my online account?
Make sure you are logging into the correct location where you booked your unit. We have several locations and each have a separate login portal, so please make sure you are on the right login location. If you are still unable to access your account or reset your password, call us and we will help update your account.
What happens if I can’t make my payment on time? Do you throw my stuff out?
No, we do not throw your stuff out!
But you may incur late fees. You will be notified through the entire process, so make sure your contact information is up to date and accurate.
*Your payment is completely your responsibility and accessible for you to do online 24/7.
Why is it important to keep my information up to date online?
We do our best to keep you informed with information regarding your rental, whether that’s a payment not processing automatically or your move out updates, etc. Being able to contact you is important to us as well aw you.
Can I pay in person?
No, we do not have an office location for you to visit. All payments are collected online with a credit/debit card.
